NPC Knox Classic

Gripp Energy took a trip to Knoxville, Tennessee at the beginning of August for the 2017 NPC Knox Classic presented by We signed on to sponsor competitor Chris Williams who hails from Bristol, Virginia. The event provided an excellent opportunity to promote our product throughout our sales region, both before and during the event. Chris joined us for a special tasting at Dyna Body by Lee in Abingdon, Virginia, and the Gripp crew was on hand at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum to showcase all that our product has to offer. We met some awesome people, made some lasting connections and, to top it off, Chris brought home First Place in the Hero Division as well as Second Place in the Men’s Heavyweight Division!

It was a pleasure working with Chris Williams at the NPC Knox Classic and we’re thrilled that our sponsorship brought us a true fan. As a body builder, Chris is always on the go to his local gym with a Gripp in hand:  “Need a kick start? Try GRIPP ENERGY DRINK!! It DEFINIELY pushed me through my workout!”

Feast with the Beasts

The Gripp gang had so much fun in Knoxville that we couldn’t resist heading back down for Feast with the Beasts at the Knoxville Zoo. Feast with the Beasts is an incredibly cool wine, food and brew event designed for those 21 and older. This year’s Feast featured samples from more than 40 area restaurants, wineries, breweries and distillers as well as live performances by the Virbraslaps and Pop Rox. The Gripp team had an amazing time roaming around the zoo and meeting all the animals while sharing samples of our unique product with guests.

It's Bristol, Baby!

Whether you’re a race fan or not, you just can’t deny the sheer energy that envelopes the region when the Food City 500 comes to town. Well, you know that if you can feel the energy in the air, Gripp has got to be close by! Bristol Race Week brings thousands of fans to Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia so this Race Weekend, we made sure to provide plenty of chances for the eager race fans to get a Gripp! The Gripp gang set up samplings with Food City and Pit Row Market leading up to the big event and we hung out alongside Kres Vandyke, driver of the Gripp Late Model Stock Car, at Food City Family Race Night. We had a blast sharing our  product, reconnecting with some of our own old fans and gaining lots of new ones along the way!

D.A.R.E. to Golf

This month, Gripp got to go golfing! The Wise County Sheriff’s Office hosted the 20th Annual D.A.R.E. Golf Tournament at Raven Rock Golf Course in Jenkins, Kentucky on August 30th. Proceeds from the charity event went to benefit the Wise County Sheriff’s Office Drug Education Programs. Gripp couldn’t pass up the chance to get involved with such a great cause. Every participant in the tournament got a Gripp to fuel their game and the winners went home with a mixed case! First place team members also received a special Gripp polo shirt to sport when they’re out and about.
